The credit for my success goes to my mother.  Really!  She grew up in an era when the wife and mother was queen of her domain. A clean home and well mannered children were a source of pride and comfort for her. She instilled in me her orderly, fastidious ways of home management. Her attention for detail and her understanding of doing any job “Right the First Time” have served me well my whole life.

I am a native Memphian. I grew up in East Memphis, graduated from White Station High School, went to Memphis State and then joined the army in the height of Vietnam. After receiving an honorable discharge with distinction, I returned to Memphis to start up my one and only career as a carpet cleaner, rug cleaner and upholstery cleaner.  

Grayson Smith Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning provides carpet cleaning services for the Memphis Tennessee area and we are one of the few companies left where the owner actually does the carpet cleaning, rug cleaning and upholstery cleaning work. This is because I enjoy meeting and working with people and I enjoy starting and finishing a job and seeing the fruits of my labor.

When you call us for an estimate or advice, I promise you an honest evaluation of the condition of your carpets and upholstery and the improvement that can be expected. In fact, there have been times where I have told people their carpets were so damaged that their money would be better spent towards replacement.
